Patrons wishing to borrow books from libraries other than those in the BCCLS system can use the reciprocal borrowing program for Essex County known as ReBL. The Essex County Library Directors, Inc. sponsor the program.

Glen Ridge borrowers may obtain a free ReBL card that is accepted at most public and academic libraries in the county. Users are encouraged to call any other library to check on borrowing policies before going there.
