Notice To Bidders Borough of Glen Ridge


2021 MAINTENANCE OF ATHLETIC FIELDS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Borough of Glen Ridge that proposals will be received by the Borough Clerk until Friday, April 16, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. prevailing time in the Council Chamber in the Glen Ridge Municipal Building, 825 Bloomfield Avenue, at which time and place the sealed proposals will be opened publicly and read for the following:

2021 MAINTENANCE OF ATHLETIC FIELDS

Copies of the plans and specifications may be obtained by emailing the Borough Clerk at clerk@glenridgenj.org or calling 973.748.8400 ext. 222.

All work done shall conform to the specifications on file in the Borough Clerk's Office in the Glen Ridge Municipal Building. All proposals must be submitted on forms provided by the Borough. Proposals shall be placed in sealed envelopes and plainly marked and addressed to the Borough Clerk with the Contractor's name and address thereon.

Bidder are required to comply with requirements of the N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Bidders shall also comply with P.L. 1963, c. 150 (Prevailing Wage) and Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (42 U.S.C. 12101, et seq.). Bidders are required to comply with Executive Order #34 (1976) - debarred vendors.

Mayor and Council reserve the right to reject any or all bids or any or all items in the proposal; to increase or decrease or eliminate such items as may be necessary for the adoption of any alternate; to accept that one which, in its judgment, best serves its interest; to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received and to accept the bid from the lowest responsible bidder.
